The East Ouachita RD 305 A Tract (#03019-03927) is a ±30-acre tract of timberland located in Ouachita County about eight miles northeast of Chidester, AR (North 33.7567°, West 92.8936°). About 20 acres of the property contains merchantable natural pine timber; the remaining land features a steep slope leading down to the river bottom of mostly hardwood. Access to the northwestern side of the property has been historically used by a woodsroad running for roughly a quarter-mile northeast of Ouachita Road 305A, a gravel county road. The rolling hills and sandy/silt loam soils make for a property that is very well drained. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property consists of an assortment of sandy/silt loam soils which give the tract a weighted average site index of 87.9 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50).
