According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the upland soils where the pine stands are located consist primarily of various fine sandy loam soils while the bottomland acreage has primarily Guyton and Amy silt loam soil. All soils on the property are reported to have a site index of 90 feet for loblolly pine at a base age of 50 years.
